So the Cheetah Lounge isn't the only place with a disco ball - that isn't a disco. That's a Fluevog store in Manhattan. They have some cool shoes out these days, too - not as hard core rock n roll. Strange to see Ballet flats in that store. I have these, in black-on-black. Always feel like a rock star when I wear 'em!

As you know, we love men here at ChickChat. One reason is that they always seem to be looking for new ways to make us happy. Because they know that if we're happy, they're happy, if you know what I mean (wink wink nudge nudge)!

Sometimes we nag or complain about what they're doing wrong, but let's take a minute to talk about what they do right.

Yesterday on the show we talked about the five things each of us love about men. Here's our lists:

Heidi:
1. They're men! It's genetic! Heidi's simply attracted to men.
2. Sometimes they're naked!
3. They smell good.
4. The kind of men that Heidi likes put her on a pedestal.
5. They're attracted to us!

Lara:
1. They can open jars and lift heavy objects.
2. If you rest your head on their shoulder, I love nibbling on that soft spot on their neck.
3. You can get to their hearts through their stomachs.
4. They know they can get to our hearts through our stomachs!
5. They're adventurous: If we say, "Honey, I'd like to try something new in the bedroom...would you pick up some Zestra on the way home so we can try it out?" Most guys would JUMP at the chance! I know my fiance was very pleased with the results...as was I!

Just take a short moment to feel the true meaning of Memorial Day.

If you can find a Military event or concert, I urge you to do it. As a granddaughter of two U.S. Navy Submariners, and daughter of a U.S. Navy Submarine Captain, I have very strong memories of 21 gun salutes, flyovers, marching soldiers, and Marine Drill Teams.

And if you ever have a chance to attend any event at The Arlington National Cemetery in Washington D.C. - the memory will never leave you.

Maybe I'm a sap, but never can I watch these with a dry eye.....and they say it all better than I could ever try to......

Imagine, you finally met "the one" - and it all went down on an Internet dating site! I've been to weddings of plenty of couples who met that way. I don't think there's anything wrong with it - I'm an Internet dating fan!

But.

This couple is on a billboard. In Times Square. I hope their grandparents and friends and exes and employers already knew how they really met!

My fiance's sister set us up - she is one of my oldest and closest friends. We all three went to the same jr high school & high school, just not at the same time. Three years ago if you had told me that I was going to wind up in Boston with someone from my home town I would have laughed my ass right off the barstool and rolled around on the floor. Good one, I would have said.

I bought this in 1987 in Madison Wisconsin. With matching neon orange leggings (which fell apart from overuse). I liked how the boxy cut hid my hips - you know, the 18-year-old hips I'd kill for right now?? Anyway. I was feeling nostalgic and I am trying to avoid pants while my hand recovers. So here it is, Internets!

What's the oldest functional piece in your closet?

Seems like such a 'chore' to go along with the societal (sp?) norm for them. And sometimes that really makes me sad.

But this? This is pretty damn funny no matter what......
