Congrats to Tesco, but I have to say I was rooting for my girl RSM.  Her cake was spectacular!  I hope she doesn’t become the Susan Lucci of cakes - she so deserves to win this thing!  Next year I have a feeling everyone will be pulling out the big guns!!!

Oh, yeah, to answer the question (I’m a day behind on ChickChat) there ARE the correct number of stars and stripes.  (That made the “union”, which is the blue part of the cake, very white-chocolately!)

The white chocolate chips are right side up for stars and upside down for stripes.

Nah, your people love you, you should be happy… it is a little sad however that they have to question the use of a quill on a Declaration of Independence… or at least the one who did.

Umm, that was Lara on the show. And no one questioned it’s use, they said it was weird on a cake.

Well I thought the quill tasted like shit!  Pretty handy to pick my teeth with though.
