Just yesterday I sat on a bench in Central Park with a girlfriend, happily eating a Magnolia Bakery Cupcake.

Then I had an epiphany.

I am a tourist, not a New Yorker.

I could tell because the Magnolia Bakery Cupcake was purchased in midtown (the horror!).

It's been two and a half years, New York, and I finally know that it's over between us. I can tell it's over because I was happier about eating the cupcake than I was sad about being a tourist.

Mmmmm...cupcakes!! When's the last time you had a cupcake, cupcake???
