ChickChat Radio joined Mad Housewife Wines and Working Girl Wines as sponsors of the first annual "Camp Bombshell" weekend held in the Poconos Mountains of Pennsylvania, September 23-25, 2005.

"Camp Bombshell was like holding a weekend-long edition of ChickChat, with plenty of wine and new friends," said ChickChat co-host Lara Dyan. "It was great to meet women from across the country of all ages that just wanted to play, have fun, and meet new friends," she added.

"For every woman that misses camp from her youth - or any woman who never got to go - this was spectacular," said ChickChat co-host Heidi Hanzel. She added, "Life is too short not to share the fun and the friendship...as well as the wine and chocolate!"

"We had campers ranging in age from 23 to 70," said Miami Bombshell Tammi Leader Fuller. "While everyone has different issues, it blew us away to see how much pressure we're all putting on ourselves to do everything so perfectly, and it really did make us feel better to know we're not the only ones. And the no-makeup rule really did help us peel away the layers we bury ourselves under!" She added, "Plus, we had a BLAST!"

The successful event was attended by women from across the country who decided to put themselves at the top of their "to do" lists and spend a weekend drinking wine, eating chocolate, and having fun. Campers enjoyed taking on a 35-foot high obstacle course, eating s'mores around a campfire, stomping grapes into wine, and taking belly-dancing lessons.

Camp Bombshell weekend is just one of the offshoots of the Miami Bombshells, the authors of the newly released book, Dish and Tell: Life, Love and Secrets.
